Franklin Pierce University is seeking a Graduate Assistant to join our Department of Campus Recreation. The Graduate Assistant is responsible for a 40 sport intramural program, and the administrative function involved with the management of all campus recreation facilities. Other responsibilities include the direct supervision of over 45 student employees and assisting the Director in the compliance of all risk management procedures, special event coordination and monitoring the department’s budgets and payroll. The Graduate Assistant will work Monday through Friday, 20 hours a week but must be flexible to work evening.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation/Sport Management or closely related field with 1-3 years of successful experience in recreation and facility management; direct experience with intramural programming; strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be accepted into the Franklin Pierce graduate program before being considered.
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
