Provide direction, leadership and facilitation for the day-to-day operations of the RecCenter, Outdoor Complex, and any future recreation facilities, including scheduling, equipment inventory/repair, and personnel management. Serve as contact point for Plant Maintenance and Custodial and Grounds and administer the informal open recreational program. This is a full-time positin working Monday-Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Some evening and weekend duties will be expected.
Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Sports Management or Physical Education or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. One year experience in university recreation building management. Knowledge of building systems, maintenance supervision and facilities operation. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others.
