The Department of Recreation, Adventure and Wellness (DRAW) is looking for someone to join our team as the next SRC Facility Coordinator. The facility coordinator will coordinate space rentals and reservations, supervise the intramurals graduate assistant, but most importantly, keep the fitness equipment operating in tip-top shape (with the help of some student employees).
Do you like working with exercise equipment and being a part of a fitness environment? Join our team and become the next Student Recreation Center (SRC) Facility Coordinator. You will supervise the intramurals graduate assistant, be the point of contact for building reservations and rentals, and keep the equipment in great working condition! Previous experience working in a gym/university setting is preferred, but willing to get grease on your hands is required!
Experience with equipment repair and maintenance, preferably in a gym/university recreational center; two years of supervisory experience.
Typical Education or Training:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school graduate, Alaska driver’s license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment. CPR/AED/ First Aid certification, or ability to obtain with 90 days of employment.
Additional Salary Information: *Tuition waiver after 6 months probationary period
