HealthFitness has a great new opportunity for a Member Services Supervisor in the evening shift! In this position, you will serve as the manager on duty for Member Services and an initial point of contact (POC) for the MIT Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation. While serving as the POC, the Evening Supervisor is the first responder for all injuries, incidents, and accidents. The Evening Supervisor also troubleshoots operational issues as they occur and is responsible for communicating with students, members, guests, and staff. The hours for this position will be Sunday-Thursday from 3:30pm-11:30pm.
Serves as the evening supervisor and lead front line Member Services associate.
Responsible for communicating with patrons, processing membership and program transactions, troubleshooting incidents and injuries, managing towel service, and enforcing facility access policies.
Manages the Vassar desk equipment check-out operation which includes: daily inventory control, equipment orders, replenishment of damaged and lost equipment, collection of lost equipment and late fees.
Reconciles employee transactions and deposits nightly cash-outs.
Updates and monitors squash court, golf range, and outdoor tennis reservations.
Conducts the daily audit and card activation of online membership transactions. Cross references CCURE with CSI to ensure appropriate membership type selection. Communicates with members regarding discrepancies.
Utilizes CCURE to validate all Friends of MIT sponsorship submissions.
Enhances the lives of our community by demonstrating the type behavior and decision-making skills that are in line with our quality standards (Safety, Approachability, Knowledge).
Assists with POC trainings, position manual development, and administration of POC meetings.
Documents and submits facility work requests as necessary.
MIT Recreational Sports is a premier program consisting of a 150,000 sq ft facility complete with two floors of fitness activity space housing over 75 pieces of cardiovascular equipment, two full lines of strength equipment, free weight room, a 50m Olympic pool and two 25m recreational pools, squash courts, multi-activity court and is connected to 3 additional athletic facilities housing multiple ...gymnasiums, an indoor track and ice rink. Serving an eligible population of 15,000+, this program incorporates comprehensive Fitness, Aquatic and Recreational programming all within the MIT community.
