The EMS Manager within the Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance will direct all aspects of BU Emergency Medical Services. These include EMS operations and educational offerings. This individual will oversee the development, management, and instruction of EMS credit, noncredit, continuing education, and group training classes. This individual will also oversee staffing and operation of first aid stations for students, faculty, staff, and guests of the university.

B.S./B.A. in Public Health, Medicine, Education, Management or related field and three years of experience as a certified health care provider. Excellent verbal, written and communication skills and strong customer service and organizational skills. Experience teaching Emergency Medical Response classes at all levels. Experience working and supervising in a clinical setting as an EMT or equivalent. Required certifications: Professional Rescuer/Healthcare Provider CPR, EMT-Basic or equivalent, CPR and First Aid Instructor.
