Purpose of this position: Under the direct supervision of the Associate Director - Business Operations for Campus Recreation, the incumbent will coordinate all student personnel management related to departmental recruitment, hiring, on/off-boarding, orientation, payroll processing, evaluations and disciplinary oversight, skill development training, data collection, and appreciation events for student employees and graduate assistants. The coordinator will also be responsible for fiscal management of student personnel operations, assessment of student personnel related goals and objectives, and the direct supervision (as needed) of one to two student employees.
Bachelor’s degree from a credited college or university.
One year of full-time professional experience (two years of GA experience will count as one year of professional experience).
Experience interviewing and screening job applicants.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a diverse environment.
Current CPR/AED or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Master’s Degree from a credited college or university.
Computer competency and experience with presentation software, multi-media training programs, and database management software.
Experience conducting workplace safety and/or customer service training.
Salesforce or Customer relationship management (CRM) experience.
