The Aquatics Division of the Castle Rock Parks and Recreation Department has an outstanding opportunity for a Recreation Aquatics Supervisor. Under general supervision of the Recreation Manager, the purpose of the position is to oversee the Aquatic function of the Recreation Division. Employees in this classification perform professional and supervisory level work. This position is responsible for directing personnel and maintaining safe and effective operations of aquatic facilities and programs. Performs duties in a manner consistent with the Town values.
Qualifications generally include a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation or closely related field; supplemented by two (2) years previous experience and/or training that includes pool operation and management, lifeguarding/water safety; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
The following are also required:
Lifeguard Instructor Certification.
Water Safety Instructor Certification.
Pool Operator Certification.
First Aid, CPR Certification.
Candidate must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check prior to commencing employment.
