TRC’s Program Manager is directly involved and responsible for the management and execution of all TRC Youth Programs, Groups, Classes, and Camps. The Program Manager is a Leadership Role, under the Programs Department, and must have a constant awareness for risk management and delivering a phenomenal customer service experience for all guests.
The Program Manager will: grow program revenue and meet financial goals as given by the Club Director; create new community relationships and educate on TRC programs, products, and services to new and returning customers; manage Program Staff; program and curriculum development.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to –
Collaborate with the Club Director to improve all program sales through outreach and sales efforts
Create new, and maintain existing, B2B, School, and other community relationships to maximize program revenue growth
Monitor quantitative data in Rock Gym Pro to understand how the Program Department is performing, relative to its potential
Responsible for the management of TRC-NR’s First Ascent after-school program and TRC Summer and Year-Round Camp Programs. Including supervision of Coordinators, staff training/scheduling, curriculum development, and participant recruitment/on boarding
Serve as the primary contact for bookings and confirming reservations
Assist in recruitment and hiring of Program and Desk Staff
Manage and train all Staff on program goals, expectations, and fulfillment
Improve and expand program curriculum as needed
Constantly seeks feedback from program participants, and group leaders, regarding their TRC Program experience
Review monthly program results with Club Director
Assist the Club Director with general staff and facility management,
Maintain regular communication and collaboration with the TRC Corporate Team, and full time staff at other club locations
Hands on fulfillment in programs as necessary including camps, classes, and all other programs
Any and all tasks as requested by Management.
BA in Recreation, Outdoor Recreation Management, or equivalent in experience preferred
Extensive background in customer service and customer facing roles.
A proven record of performing at a high level
Strong relationship building skills – with customers, co-workers, and strategic partners
Strong sales and customer experience focus
Extensive background in youth programming
Demonstrated passion for the sport of climbing.
Word and EXCEL proficiency
Openness to continued personal/professional development and coaching
