Director of Facilities and Operations will be responsible for overseeing a high-functioning area of the department to include all aspects of facility operations and maintenance for the diverse portfolio of park facilities. The Director works closely with staff and vendors to provide critical coordination, communication and information for the safe, clean, maintained, and efficient functioning of the park’s facilities and grounds. The Director is responsible for supporting park users, tenants, lessees, and stakeholders through development and execution of the park’s Common Area Maintenance Plan (CAM Plan). This position requires strong critical thinking skills as well as an entrepreneurial and customer service focused attitude. The Director applies the CENTERS Essential Attitudes for High Performance as the standard for leading a team of professional and part-time employees. Bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years of professional experience in related field required.
Coordinator of Competitive Sports Recreation and Camps is responsible for the oversight and management of all park related sports, recreation and youth programming. This position will manage part-time staff including instructors, officials, attendants and supervisors. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s anda t least two years of programming experience preferred.
Grounds Manager is the primary caretaker of all outdoor areas of the park. This position is responsible for maintaining, and readying for use, all athletic fields, common area grounds and roads including mowing, laying out and painting lines, aeration and fertilization, infield prep, field setup, landscaping, snow removal and trash removal. High school diploma is required, bachelor’s or associate’s degree as well as at least 3 years of fields and grounds maintenance experience is preferred.
