The Campaign and Cricket Coordinator is a newly created position that supports engagement by bringing opportunities, activities and new initiatives to NIRSA members with a focus on campus cricket and student officials’ development training.
This exciting new opportunity will report to the Director of Campus Cricket Programs, Adam Pruett.
This position will actively support the NIRSA Foundation in developing and executing the fundraising campaign for the Student Officials Development (55%); assist the NIRSA Services Corporation in the implementation of the Campus Cricket Program (35%), and provide general administrative support to the Director of Campus Cricket Programs (10%).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement the Campaign for Student Officials’ Development Plan: Working closely with the Director, the Coordinator is responsible for the day to day coordination of the campaign. The Coordinator is responsible for project management from planning through completion, assisting with marketing, communications, reporting and supporting the volunteer task force.
Develop campaign prospects and steward donors: The coordinator will work collaboratively with the Directors of NSC and the NIRSA Foundation on donor cultivation, executing solicitation priorities and donor stewardship.
Support the NIRSA Campus Cricket Program: Assist the Director of Campus Cricket Programs with the implementation of the NIRSA Campus Cricket program.
Foster Intentional Relationships and Deliver Customer Service: The coordinator serves as a staff liaison for members engaged campus cricket and student officials development. This requires a prompt, professional, courteous service at all times. Creating and sustaining relationships takes work. The coordinator will actively foster relationships with NIRSA members to further the programs of NIRSA.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 2 years of relevant and progressively responsible experience with individual giving, donor solicitation and stewardship.
Excellent written communication skills, able to produce substantive and polished support documents
Love the challenge of meeting new people and connecting them with your program.
Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with board members, staff members, volunteers, consultants, donors and prospects
Ability to work both independently without close oversight, but also a team player who will productively engage with others
Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
Knowledge of recreational sports, including collegiate intramurals and club sports
Energetic, self-motivated, flexible and adaptable with a sense of humor
Bachelor’s degree preferred
