Assistant Coordinator - Operations
Assist with daily operations: monitor facility and equipment usage, conduct inspections and risk management assessments, develop and implement systems, and oversee custodial, maintenance and repair needs.
Assist with the scheduling of facility events and programs.
Hire, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate part-time staff to oversee the facility.
Provide on-site coordination of special events and programs: arrange services, coordinate and perform set-up and take-down, provide event supervision, technical support and evaluation, operate equipment, and work with event sponsors in planning and conducting events.
Assist with development, interpreting, and applying of policies and procedures as they relate to the facility and consult with and respond to questions and concerns of users.
Manage capital improvement projects, permanent equipment purchases and equipment installations and repairs as assigned by Operations Coordinator.
Assist in budget preparation, preparing cost estimates for budget recommendation and submits justification.
Maintain professional knowledge required for position and serve as a contributing member of the staff.
Primary work hours include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Assistant Coordinator - Events
Assist with the development and execution of all programming for all ages from youth to adults within the facility, and coordinate a marketing plan to attract and retain users.
Assist with the scheduling, oversight, and generation of sales of leagues, clinics and tournaments.
Assist in creation of instructional programs, targeting all ages and ability levels to meet the developmental needs of athletes.
Maintain relationships with other organizations within the local sports community.
Coordinate referees and coaches for programmed activities.
