Florida Atlantic University’s Campus Recreation department is seeking a Coordinator, Reservations & Scheduling/Campus Rec, Boca Raton, FL.
The Coordinator, Student Affairs oversees all facility reservations and scheduling for the Recreation and Fitness Center, Henderson Field Complex, Climbing Wall, Challenge Course, Track and Turf Field Complex, outdoor tennis courts and outdoor basketball courts.
Serve as point of contact for all facility reservations and challenge course program requests for Campus Recreation programs, student organizations, university departments and external groups.
Serve as liaison with campus Events Advisory Committee.
Manage events and bookings in EMS, Fusion, and Owl Central.
Manage Sport Club practice and competition schedules with assistance from Assistant Director of Competitive Sports.
Responsible for department invoicing and event payment collection process.
Develop, processes, and manages all facility use agreements, fee estimates, certificates of insurance, for all facility rentals in accordance with department and university policies.
Manage Henderson field lining schedule.
Administer equipment rentals process for special events and group requests.
Operate as lead for department and divisional special events as needed.
Serve on university and divisional committees as needed.
Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of customer service/ scheduling reservation experience required.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Must also have excellent team work, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
