The Assistant Director of Recreational Services – Intramural and Sport Clubs is responsible for the planning and administering of comprehensive Intramural and Sport Clubs Programs. This position reports directly to the Director of Recreational Services.
Specific Responsibilities include:
Develop and administer a comprehensive Intramural program.
Hire, train, and supervise Intramural officials and supervisors
Organize and facilitate all Intramural captains’ meetings and officials’ clinics
Provide evaluations and assessments of the Intramural program.
Provide Intramural and Sport Club program reports (i.e. participation numbers, injuries, incidents, etc).
Develop and implement an effective marketing plan to promote Intramurals
Oversee the inventory and maintenance of Intramural equipment
Develop, train, and implement risk management protocols for Intramurals and Sport Clubs
Schedule and coordinate all Intramural leagues and tournaments
Maintain Intramural and Sport Clubs websites and social media content
Assist with management of Intramural budget
Supervise, evaluate, develop and enforce Sport Clubs policies
Advise and schedule all Sport Clubs
Plan and administer faculty/staff golf league
Assist the Director in establishing department-wide strategic goals and objectives
Teach CPR & First Aid

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and experience in the field of recreation at the collegiate level
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree and certified or registered sports official
