Job Duties: Responsible for assisting in planning, organizing, and evaluating all activities associated with the Intramural Sports Program including several extramural tournaments. This includes the supervising and mentoring of student employees, as well as scheduling leagues & tournaments. The intern will become acquainted with the procedures and guidelines associated with both Campus Recreation and Intramural Sports. Evening and weekend hours will be required.
Period of Appointment: July, 2018 – June 1st, 2019. Separate arrangements may be made on an individual basis.

Screening will begin immediately and interviews are planned to begin prior to the NIRSA National Conference in Denver, Colorado.
Bachelors degree; experience in a university intramural sports program, prior officiating experience & CPR/SFA/AED certifications are strongly preferred. Those seeking a career in recreation will receive preference.
Additional Salary Information: Paid as an hourly wage ($11/hr) with total approximating $13,000 over the 10 month period. The appointee will be paid twice monthly and expected to work an average of 29.5 hours a week (with the exception of some university holidays & breaks.)
