Contract - Internship
The goal of our internship program is to develop recreation professionals by immersing them in an intense, hands on experience. We are devoted to creating an environment through which our interns will grow professionally and personally.
Student Wellness and Recreation Center Facility Operations Internship:
As an intern with an emphasis inFacility Operations, you will be assisting our transition into year two of our new Student Wellness and Recreation Center. This multi-purpose facility engages our campus community through recreational, wellness, and educational opportunities. Your duties will include assisting with facility operations and management, marketing, employee training, equipment maintenance, special event management and student development.
Terms and Compensation:
2018-2019 Academic Year: early-August--mid-May; apply by April 6, 2018
Stipend: Interns will be paid $3,000 over the course of the internship
Housing: Housing is provided

Pursuing a degree, requiring an internship within its curriculum
Knowledgeable about campus recreation programming and/or campus recreation facilities
An excellent communicator and a team player
Able to work flexible and often long hours
Able to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 75lbs
Additional Salary Information: $3,000 stipend to be paid throughout the duration of the internship.
