Job Description (Intramural Sports 2-year commitment, pending satisfactory employment in first year)
Candidate must represent Department of Recreational Sports and Services in many capacities and is expected to be professional is his or her conduct.
Available to work 25 hours per week (office hours will include day, night and weekends, however, the majority of hours will be afternoon and evening)
Promote IM Sports on campus with flyers, informational meetings and social media.
Maintain a safe environment for participants and staff during all IM games, events, leagues and training.
Communicate with Associate Director during the hiring and training of all intramural employees.
Organize and conduct team captain/individual sport meetings.
Actively meet with IM staff and supervisors on a bi-weekly basis.
Assist in policy review, rule revisions, and training manuals.
Compile semester and yearly final reports for assigned sports.
Oversee Campus Disc Golf Course maintenance throughout the year
Other duties as assigned by Department of Recreational Sports and Services or Office of Student Affairs.

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution.
Acceptance and working toward the completion of a Master’s Degree at (Baldwin Wallace University MBA, Kent State University, Cleveland State University or The University of Akron) with an academic path in Sport Administration, Business or Higher Education Administration).
At least 1 year of experience working in Intramural or Club Sports as a supervisor during undergraduate experience.
Officiating experience in Intramural Basketball, Flag Football, Volleyball, Softball and/or Indoor Futsal.
Experience in administering officials training,
Previous experience with IMLeagues.com scheduling software is a plus.
Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills, computer competency and organizational skills.
Hold American Red Cross First Aid, CPR & AED certification or obtain within 30 days of employment.
Have a valid driver’s licenses and obtain van driver training certification provided by BW
Additional Salary Information: Compensation
$8,500 taxable stipend over a 10-month period (Aug.1-May 31) payable in bi-weekly installments.

Apartment semi-furnished on campus.
$1000 Tuition Waiver per semester and $1000 loaded on Jacket Express per semester. Tuition is the responsibility of the applicant.
