Reporting to the Associate Director of Recreation Programs, the Coordinator of Outdoor Programs is responsible for overall supervision of the Middle Tennessee Outdoor Pursuits program. This position supervises all aspects of the climbing wall, challenge course, trips and trip leader training program, the outdoor equipment rental center, bike shop, and will perform other related projects as assigned. This position is an integral, administrative position that is part of the Campus Recreation team and is relied upon for departmental leadership.

Masters degree in Recreation management, leadership, or closely related field. Wilderness First Responder Certification required. One year supervising a climbing wall and outdoor equipment rental center preferred and two years trip leading experience preferred. PCIA or AMGA and ACA swiftwater rescue certification preferred.
