Oversee all aspects of the creation and operation of a new club Men’s Rugby program. The successful candidate will have to create playing and practice schedules, manage operating budgets, equipment purchasing, and recruitment of quality student-athletes. The Head Coach will also have a key role in fostering an environment where student-athletes will realize great academic and athletic experiences. This position will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a vibrant intramural/recreation program, especially in the new GTC building in Fall 2019.
Nationally recruit quality student-athletes from prep school programs and high schools. Work with faculty and staff as necessary in order to provide the best experience for the student-athlete. Provide on-ice coaching and team preparation. Understand and adhere to all NCAA rules and regulations.
Required Education, Experience, Technology Applications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of coaching at college level or prep school/high school level. Ability to nationally recruit quality student-athletes from prep school programs and high schools.
Preferred Education, Experience, Technology Applications and Skills
Master’s degree and head coaching experience at either the junior level or college level.
