Job Description: Coordinate the club sports program, which is comprised of 44 club sports with over 1200 members. Utilize a student development approach in mentoring club sports officers to meet risk management, event planning, club operation and university policy responsibilities. Our Club sports program annually provides over: 50 home events, 225 trips, 200 clinics, 50 community service projects, and 250 practice hours per week. Approximately 15% of the position is responsible for coordinating select intramural sports special events. This position will also work with the Program Director and two Assistant Directors to mentor Graduate Assistants and Program Assistants.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in recreation or related field required; 2-years full time experience in club sports programming in a college recreational setting preferred. Registered Collegiate Recreational Sports Professional preferred. Must possess and demonstrate: (1) commitment to student development and risk management, (2) event planning and counseling expertise, (3) supervision of hourly employees and/or volunteers, (4) relational skills, and (5) proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Salary: $47,500 to $53,000 for 12-month position. Indiana University provides an excellent benefits package.
