Tiffin University is seeking applicants for a Club and Recreation Graduate Assistant. The primary responsibilities of this Graduate Assistant would include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the club and rec program, creating a variety of sports leagues, hiring and training staff, marketing the program, ensuring a fun and safe atmosphere for all participants, and performing other tasks as assigned by the Director of Club and Rec Sports. Secondary responsibilities would include working with admissions during special events, purchasing equipment when necessary, and organizing competition and leagues through IM Leagues.
Admission to a Tiffin University Graduate Program
Strong organizational, leadership, creativity, and communication skills
Previous club and rec or college athletics experience
Knowledge of a wide variety of sports
Knowledge in Microsoft Suite, Photoshop, and Premiere a plus
Candidate will start on January 7th, 2019. Tuition and technology fee would be covered by Tiffin University Club and Rec. A monthly stipend will also be awarded to the student.
