The Outdoor Recreation Coordinator supervises and develops student employees and oversees marketing efforts for outdoor recreation to provide opportunities for students to engage in meaningful beyond the classroom experiences. This position also coordinates outdoor recreation special events.
Job duties: The primary responsibilities of the outdoor recreation coordinator include: • Hire, train, schedule and supervise outdoor recreation student employees to include climbing wall, rental shop, adventure trips, bike shop, challenge course and paddle sports. • Assist Outdoor Recreation Director in developing related educational opportunities for Outdoor Recreation, including workshops, seminars and trainings. • Create, design and oversee marketing efforts, both print and digital • Coordinate outdoor recreation’s special events to include but limited to: climbing completion, Banff film festival, Wilderness First Aid course, specialty climbs, distress events, and challenge course open climbs.

Masters degree in Student Services or related field and 1 year related experience, or bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience.
