The University of Central Florida Recreation and Wellness Center in Orlando, FL seeks dynamic individuals for our team to fill the Graduate Assistant position in the areas of Athletic Training, Facilities, Fitness (2), Intramural Sports (2) and Outdoor Adventure. Graduate Assistants serve as para-professionals in a thriving student development environment in support of the Recreation and Wellness Center's core goals and values. Positions are for Fall 2019 with an expectation of a 2 year tenure through Spring 2021. Compensation and Tuition Support:
Stipend: $11,500 for fall and spring. Additional employment expected during the summer between academic years of assistantship (additional stipend of $3,400 for a total of $14,900 for the first academic year).
Period of Employment: August 15 - May 15 (36 weeks). Includes 2 weeks off during winter and 1 week off in spring.
Tuition support: Waiver of 100% tuition (in-state and out-of-state) for all semesters of full enrollment. Student is responsible for additional fees not covered by tuition (i.e. Health Fee, Technology Fee, Athletic Fee, Activity and Service Fee, etc.)

Note: Offers of assistantships are contingent upon acceptance into a graduate program at the University of Central Florida. Preferred graduate programs of study for RWC GA's are Higher Education and Policy Studies and Sport & Exercise Science.
