The University of South Florida is currently searching for qualified candidates to fill an intramural sports vacancy for the 2019-20 academic school year.

Recruit, hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and certify attendance and leave of up to 150 student workers, including supervisors and officials
Develop, plan, and administer up to 40 intramural sports and events through IMLeagues
Create, organize, and assess an evaluation model that includes online feedback forms and video evaluations for student supervisors and officials
Other responsibilities include; maintaining weekly office hours, attending program and departmental staff meetings, assisting in the development of student staff at game sites; and serving as the liaison between student and professional staff
Participate and take lead on professional development opportunities, including: involvement with regional tournaments, attendance at regional and/or national conferences, and aiding the student staff in organizing travel through the student official’s association to attend similar events.
Preferred candidates will have work experience within an Intramural or Competitive Sports program and should have a valid driver’s license

Graduate Assistants are paid based on the 12 month graduate assistant contract as negotiated by the Graduate Student Union. The position includes a tuition waiver, $14,737 stipend, and optional health insurance through the university. An additional pro-rated 9 month appointment based on academic and work performance is included for the second year of the assistantship is expected.
