Coordinator of Sport & Youth Programs (Intramural Sports): Anticipated opening in late November. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Sport and Youth Programs, the Coordinator will supervise the daily operations of a comprehensive Intramural Sports program during the academic year. Staff management includes supervision of 25 site managers, 150 team sports officials, 20 scorekeepers, one graduate assistant, and one program assistant. Program management includes coordination of 25+ leagues/events each year with over 5,000 unique participants and 700+ teams. The Coordinator will also be responsible for the management of the department's award-winning youth summer camp with over 110 weekly campers and $125,000+ in revenues. The anticipated start date for this 12-month position is early March 2019 (negotiable), with an anticipated salary of $38,000-$42,000 and full NC state benefits.
Coordinator of Customer Service: Anticipated opening in late November. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Communications and Promotions, the Coordinator will supervise the daily operations of the front desk and weight room areas at the 150,000 square foot Student Recreation Center and 28,000 square foot newly-opened Health Sciences Campus Recreation Center. The position will supervise 70+ student staff, daily point of sale operations, and members services retention, marketing and sales. The anticipated start date for this 12-month position is early March 2019 (negotiable), with an anticipated salary of $38,000-$42,000 and full state benefits.
Assistant Director of Athletic Training: Anticipated opening in late November. Reporting to the Associate Director of Leadership and Programs, the Assistant Director will manage the daily operations of the CRW athletic training program to include practice and game coverage, daily drop-in acute care hours, and care at Student Health Services. The position will supervise two graduate assistant positions and student Athletic First Responders. The incumbent will be responsible for policy formulation, risk management, and the overall development of a newly formed program and 900-square foot training center in the Student Recreation Center scheduled for opening in spring 2019. The anticipated start date for this 12-month position is early March 2019 (negotiable), with an anticipated salary of $48,000-$52,000.
Associate Director of Wellness and Fitness: Anticipated opening in February 2019. Reporting to the Director of Campus Recreation and Wellness, the Associate Director will be responsible for the overall management of the department's wellness and fitness areas to include the management of six professional staff members and two graduate assistants. The position will be a leader on campus in well-being, and spearhead the department's efforts in student and employee wellness. The anticipated start date for this 12-month position is May 2019 (negotiable), with an anticipated salary of $55,000-$72,500.
