Responsible for assisting in planning, organizing, and evaluating all activities associated with the Club Sports Programs including several club tournaments. This includes the supervising and mentoring of student employees, scheduling leagues & tournaments. The Graduate Assistant will become acquainted with the procedures and guidelines associated with both University Recreation and Club Sports. Evening and weekend hours will be required around class times.
Bachelor’s degree; experience in a university campus recreation program, prior sporting experience & CPR/FA/AED certifications are strongly preferred. Applicants must be accepted into the Coastal Carolina University graduate program. Those seeking a career in recreation will receive preference.

Additional Salary Information: Paid as an hourly wage with total approximating $6,500 /semester over the 3.5 month period (prorated). The appointee will be paid twice monthly and expected to work no more than 20 hours weekly (with the exception of some university holidays & breaks.) Out of state students will be granted an out of state tuition waiver.
