Coordinate Campus Recreation wellness and fitness programs including advertisement, registration, scheduling, and evaluation of classes.
Recruit, hire, supervise, and evaluate Wellness and Group Exercise Instructors.
Prepare contracts and provide prompt payment to Wellness Instructors at the conclusion of sessions.
Maintain complete records for Campus Recreation wellness and fitness programs including contracts, attendance logs, statistics, and other related documents.
Coordinate, with the assistance of the Assistant Director-Fitness & Wellness, personal training and massage therapy appointments, daily schedule monitoring and follow-up, communication with trainers & therapists, including providing the upmost customer service to patrons.
Evaluate & Maintain Wellness Suite operations for customer service, new member experience, and risk management.
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment for the FRC Fitness & Wellness areas.
Must meet all requirements outlined by the Graduate Assistantship contract.
Experience with fitness and wellness programs including, but not limited to, personal training and group exercise, is preferred.
American Red Cross CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and is obtainable through Campus Recreation upon the start of this G.A. position.
Good communication, customer service, organization, and leadership skills.
Required to work up to 20 hours per week.
Reports to work two weeks prior to the start of the Fall semester; reports one week prior to the start of Spring and Summer semesters.
