Competitive Sports/Facilities Operations: Responsible for scheduling facility space for designated groups, such as club sports practices/competitions/tournaments, registered student organizations, etc. Supervise home events with assistance of competitive sports staff, as needed. Responsible for designated facility/operations special events/rental logistics preparation and supervision. Assist with coordinating IM Individual/ Dual Sports & Special Events. Responsible for conducting and maintaining equipment inventory for club sports and daily open recreation use. Assist IM Disciplinary Appeals Hearing Board. Attend Club Sports officer meetings. Supervise student staff, as directed. Maintain active and engaged relationships with university and community partners. Some evenings and weekends required. All other duties as assigned.
Certification Requirement: Red Cross CPR-PR
Fitness/Wellness: Assist with the implementation of fitness & wellness programs. Assist in the coordination and daily operation of multiple university fitness centers, group exercise programs, personal trainers and wellness programs. Schedule, hire, train, supervise, evaluate and motivate assigned fitness staff. Plan and implement special events including marketing and evaluation of events. Assist with coordinating departmental special events. Assist with supervision of Special Events. Maintain active and engaged relationships with university and community partners and work with outside groups who are interested fitness. Some evenings and weekends required All other duties as assigned.
Certification Requirement: Red Cross CPR-PR, Nationally accredited fitness certification desired, but not required in Group Fitness and/or Personal Training (i.e.: ACSM, ACE, NETA, NASM, NSCA),or Specialty format fitness instruction (i.e.: Zumba,YogaFit)
Marketing/Membership Services: Provide operational support and supervision of membership services for the Student Activity Center. Serves as a contact with sponsors and campus partners including existing and new relationships. Represent department at cross-campus partner events when necessary. Assist with student marketing staff on a variety of marketing initiatives including print, digital, social media, and video creation. Collaborate with professional staff on timelines for marketing strategies, promotional campaigns and publicity distribution. Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills desired but not required.

Additional Salary Information: Room and Board
Includes a single furnished room within one of the residence hall (cable, internet service, utilities, and local phone services are provided) as well as a meal plan when dining service facilities are open. Residency required as a part of the division of Enrollment and Student Services cohort. There are no in-hall responsibilities.
