Wellness Graduate Assistant
JagFit@South is the wellness program at USA. The program supports a healthy lifestyle and work environment for university employees via exercise, mindfulness, and nutrition challenges. Wellness GA applicants will be accepted for Summer or Fall 2019. This is a year-round position. The Wellness GA is expected to work fall, spring, and summer semesters, including breaks between semesters. Regular university holidays apply.
Under the supervision of the Director of Campus Recreation, the Graduate Assistant of Wellness will be responsible for assisting with the organization and management of JagFit@South including wellness challenges; overall marketing of the program; promotion of all recreation facilities on both the main campus and satellite campuses; and other duties as assigned. The GA should possess excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a commitment to a fit and healthy lifestyle. JagFit@South is active year-round. Some evening and weekend duties are expected. 20 work hours per week are required.

Marketing Graduate Assistant
Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Membership and Marketing, the Graduate Assistant of Marketing will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for all marketing and promotions efforts for Campus Recreation. This candidate will act as a Campus Recreation brand ambassador and implement our newly established marketing plan. This position offers opportunities for creativity, innovation, and teamwork to promote the programs, services and facilities of Campus Recreation.
Marketing GA applicants will be accepted for Fall 2019. This is a two-semester position. The Marketing GA is expected to work fall and spring semesters, including breaks between semesters. Regular university holidays apply. There may be an opportunity for summer employment at the regular student rate.
Regular evening and weekend duties are expected. 20 work hours per week are required.
• Develop, manage, and deliver a variety of marketing initiatives including advertising, promotions, branding, campus outreach, social media, email marketing, video/photography creation, and digital signage. • Distribute promotional items • Create and edit high quality graphic design for both print and digital platforms • Manage and execute social media marketing plan • Assist in website reviews and updates. • Build relationships with Professional Staff to satisfy marketing needs • Must possess personal communication skills and be comfortable engaging the University Community both on and off campus promoting Recreation Center Memberships.
Interested Marketing candidates should have a bachelor's degree in marketing or communications, but others will be considered.

Additional Salary Information: Tuition and registration fee waiver plus a stipend of $3,333 per semester.
