The Intramural Sports Intern will directly report to the Assistant Athletic Director for Recreation.
•Assist with direct responsibility of the Intramural Program •Assist with day to day operations of the intramural program •Train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate student officials, statisticians, and supervisors •Provide risk management training to student staff members •Promote and market intramural programs •Assist with preparation and execution of any special events •Purchase and inventory all equipment associated with the program.
•Coordinate program business operations including, but not limited to: oBudget maintenance oPurchasing oTravel oGeneral clerical duties

This position includes:
•$10,000 Stipend •On Campus Housing •Access to all program equipment and facilities •Position will average 30 hours per week for 9 months •Start Date: August 14, 2019
• Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in a related field • Previous experience in sports and recreation programs or facilities • Familiarity with current trends within recreational sports profession • Excellent communication skills • NIRSA Member preferred • Must be First Aid/CPR certified
