As Senior Associate Director, Facilities & Operations you will work collaboratively with and report to the Director. Responsibilities include; managing aquatic facilities and services, informal recreation, indoor facilities, outdoor recreational facilities, operational services, reservations and events, technology and risk management. Work collaboratively with and provide leadership to full-time staff in each of these areas to develop and administer comprehensive services that are in line with the mission and values of the division. Responsible for supervising, evaluating and leading the staff to ensure continuous professional and personal development opportunities. Expected to cultivate and develop relationships with numerous campus constituents to help advance the mission of the university and division. Must stay abreast of regional and national trends in all areas of campus recreation. Responsible for leading division initiatives and projects to include; strategic planning and capital replacement planning and execution, capital project management, technology implementation and continuous quality improvement. Serve on the senior management team and provide leadership to the division with the execution of numerous executive and administrative duties of considerable scope and complexity requiring excellent knowledge, initiative, judgment, and critical thinking.
