The Graduate Assistant for Club Sports is responsible for assisting in planning, organizing and evaluating the Quinnipiac University Club Sports Programs.
Schedule, train, supervise and evaluate Club Sport student staff
Assist with game day management of assigned home contests
Approve and review Club Sport participant paperwork and forms daily on IMLeagues
Coordinate Team Social Media Accounts
Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in related field.
Previous experience in sports and recreation programs or facilities.
Familiarity with current trends and practices within the recreational sports profession.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to relate effectively with students.
Willingness to learn Campus Recreation business operations functions.
Previous club sport participation or supervision.
Previous business operations or business curriculum experience.
Experience using IMLeagues software.
Student must have a Bachelor's Degree and be admitted to a Quinnipiac Graduate Program to qualify.
This is a 10-month position from August 1-May 30 and is renewable for one additional year. Nights and weekends are required. Offer contingent on acceptance into a Quinnipiac University Graduate Program.
