-Responsible for the overall maintenance and operation of Rec Center West (25,000 sq feet). -Coordinate work orders and repairs with outside vendors if needed. -Recruit, screen, hire, train and evaluate student employees. -Assist with programs and events held in the facility. -Ensure student employees follow cash handling procedures. - Monitor the facility reservations for Rec Center West. - Oversee the maintenance and operation of the SPN Wellness Facility(8,000). - Oversee anticipated full time staff.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Job requires for you to periodically walk around the facility and stand for short lengths of time. Some pushing/pulling is requiring for certain tasks.
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in related field and three plus years relevant professional experience. Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration or related field.
Master’s degree in Sports Administration or related field. Experience in facility management, student supervision and cash handling.
