The Administrative Program Coordinator will provide support to two program units in Campus Recreation. The units include Aquatics and Club Sports. Responsibilities for the Aquatics Program include; providing scheduling support for private & group swim lessons, scheduling pool reservations, and managing aquatics staff payroll. Responsibilities for the Club Sports program include; assisting clubs with travel reservations, completing & submitting expense reports for all travel related expenses, and assisting clubs with budget management. Additionally, this position will assist the program areas in keeping updated databases of participant information and employee certifications. The Administrative Program Coordinator will communicate current and accurate departmental information for programming and services to provide a high level of customer service. This position works in collaboration with the Assistant Directors of Aquatics and Club Sports and reports to the Associate Director of Programs.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of administrative support experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES TYPICALLY NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY:
Knowledge of PC applications, specifically Microsoft Office Excel and Word
Ability to proficiently work within technical and software systems.
Ability to provide a high level of customer service through interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
Ability to adapt and work effectively with different people and situations.
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to multi-task, self-direct, and prioritize work assignments
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
Previous experience working within a university setting
