The Coordinator of Fitness & Wellness is responsible to support a portfolio of group exercise, personal training, premium fitness, Pilates, massage and wellness programs by completing all required program details and providing the highest level of service to faculty, staff and program participants. This position is responsible for coordination of all program materials, classroom set up, and program websites using key operating systems. The Coordinator will respond to participant questions in advance of programs, welcome groups at registration, give announcements of essential information at the start of program and communicate critical information throughout the week. The Coordinator will promptly and appropriately respond to all patron and staff requests. The Coordinator will hire, process payroll, and administer the program planning process with program managers and program directors. Coordinator will complete tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure a seamless, high quality program delivery. Receives direct administrative supervision and guidance from the Assistant Director of Fitness & Wellness.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Assist with management of Fitness & Wellness programs including, but not limited to, direct supervision of a staff of 75+ employees, Group Ex Pro group exercise program software, Fusion, scheduling, payroll, incentive program development, and special events
Hiring, training, supervising and evaluating temp staff including Personal Trainers, Group Exercise Instructors, Massage Therapists, and office assistants.
Work with Campus Partners to collaborate on Wellness Events
Develop professional development events for staff
Assist with the execution of marketing and promotional materials for Fitness & Wellness department
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Master's Preferred. Fusion experience preferred.
