Job Duties: Responsible for assisting with the scheduling, management, and the continued advancement of Campus Recreation Sport Programs.. This position places an emphasis on personnel and program development through the training, supervising and mentoring of intramural sport & sport club student employees and sport club officers. Development is underway for additional outdoor programming space. The intern will become well acquainted with the procedures and guidelines associated with Campus Recreation and Intramural/Club Sports. Evening and weekend hours will be required.
Period of Appointment: September 2, 2019 – May 29th, 2020. Separate arrangements may be made on an individual basis.

Bachelors degree; experience in a university intramural sports and/or sport clubs program, prior officiating experience & CPR/SFA/AED certifications are strongly preferred. Those seeking a career in recreation will receive preference.
Additional Salary Information: Paid as an hourly wage (~$11/hr) with total approximating $12,000 over the 9 month period. The appointee will be paid twice monthly and expected to work an average of 29 hours a week (with the exception of some university holidays & breaks.)
