Recreation Readiness, in partnership with the U.S. Army’s Family and MWR program, will be offering internship opportunities for Summer 2020. Selected interns will gain recreation and youth programming experience through their work with Child and Youth Services of U.S. Army Garrisons in Germany. Interns will be primarily responsible for organizing and executing weekly sports and recreation camps for the children of eligible military and civilian families.
This is an unpaid internship in which travel, lodging, and a meal stipend will be provided.
Dates Anticipated Starting Date: June 12, 2020 Anticipated Ending Date: August 7, 2020 Interns must commit to all travel dates and must be available for the entirety of the internship.

Mandatory Requirements At least 18 years of age
First Aid / CPR certification that remains current throughout the duration of the internship
Must possess US passport that remains valid throughout the duration of the internship
Must submit to and pass multiple background checks
Minimum Qualifications 2.5 GPA
Experience working in education, recreation, youth activities, and/or related field
Current undergraduate or graduate student, or completed Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications 3.0 GPA
Pursuing a career in physical education, recreation, K-12 education, and/or related field
Current graduate student who will remain enrolled in Fall 2020
