Fitness Programs (1 opening):
Assist in the overall administration and management of the Group Exercise, Personal Fitness, and Health/Safety Instruction program including the planning, development, implementation, and marketing of a comprehensive Group Exercise schedule, GX special events, personal training special programs and so forth
Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating of student employees for Group Exercise
Actively teach Group Exercise and our ACT classes

Facility Operations (1 openings):
Support the overall operation of the 168,000 s.f. Marga Hosaeus Fitness Center that includes four multipurpose gymnasiums, climbing wall, 15,000 s.f. fitness and weight areas, three group fitness studios, and 9 racquetball/squash courts
Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating of student staff members
Supervise the membership desk, reception desk, multi-purpose domes and equipment room operations including equipment inventory for rental and retail sale, equipment orders and budget, point of sale transactions, Fusion software, and troubleshooting.

Intramurals and Club Sports (1 opening):
Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating of student employees for intramural sports officiating and supervisory positions.
Contribute to the improvement of the Club Sports program through the coordination of club travel, budget allocation, advising and policy development.
Help manage and operate the turf maintenance equipment and supervision of staff to effectively maintain facility safety, service excellence and function of equipment.

Additional Salary Information: 10 month part time position with summer work available. $1,100/month for an appointment requiring 19 hours a week. MSU will pay a minimum of 10 credits tuition/semester for GA’s accepted into this program. Health benefits covered. Money provided for NIRSA conferences and workshops as well.
