The mission of Campus Recreation is to enhance the quality of life of our unique members by educating and encouraging the active participation in recreational opportunities that develop leadership skills, foster social interaction and reinforce healthy behaviors.
The Esports Program is comprised of a varsity team, club teams and recreational play. The Esports Program is committed to providing students with a variety of quality events and activities. The goal of the program is to provide comprehensive, competitive, and recreational Esport opportunities in a safe and fun environment. All candidates should have an interest in recreation as a career, and pursue a graduate degree within the School of Kinesiology and Recreation. A Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Physical Education or related field preferred.
Experience in Esports programming and employee supervision recommended.
Knowledge of Esports league and organization structures
Experience in managing a team or Discord community preferred.
Experience supervising or participating in Esport or other gaming activities is preferred. Strong IT knowledge including computer hardware, software, and gaming technology preferred.
Additional Salary Information: $1365/month for 9 1/2 months, plus 12-month tuition fellowship for in-state and out-of-state students. Student is required to pay student fees.
