The Graduate Assistant for Intramural and Student Development assists with the planning and administration of a comprehensive intramural program as well as the student development and leadership program. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Recreational Services.
Specific responsibilities include:
Manage intramural programming and scheduling.
Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate intramural officials and supervisors.
Manage intramural equipment.
Serve as primary site manager for specific intramural events.
Liaison with IMLeagues and use of the DrakeRec app
Complete payroll for intramural officials and supervisors
Assist with sport club program
Assist with Bulldog Build student development program
Teach CPR and First Aid.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, experience in the field of recreation at the collegiate level, and acceptance into Drake University Graduate College
Preferred Qualifications: Certified or registered sports official
Additional Salary Information: 32 hours/week, 10 month appointment with tuition waiver, and summer employment possible
