The Graduate Assistant will have primary administrative responsibilities for a comprehensive Intramural sports program. The Graduate Assistant reports to the Director. This program area requires 25-30 hours per week. There will be ample opportunity to be involved in other administrative areas including facility management, student staff training, sports clubs and special events.
The G.A. will be responsible for all aspects of intramural programming including:
Procuring, training and evaluating intramural staff, including supervisors and officials.
Scheduling of all intramural events and personnel.
Marketing of Intramural events.
Conducting Captain’s meetings and regular student staff meetings.
Provide input and feedback on policy and procedures.
Maintain regular office hours each week.
Assist with Sport Club administration
Other duties as assigned.
Acceptance in a Wingate University graduate program.
Experience working in Intramural sports.
Experience conducting officials training.
Desire to mentor and work closely with students on a daily basis.
Valid Driver’s license
