Oversee the day to day operations of the Fitness Center and group exercise program. Develop and implement fitness and wellness programs including personal training, group exercise classes, fitness assessments, and special events and programs related to well-being. Provide leadership and development for undergraduate and graduate student staff. Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing fitness programs, policies, and procedures.Staff training and development experience.Certification from a nationally recognized association in group exercise and personal training.Certification in CPR and First Aid.Minimum one year experience in a higher education recreational sports setting (two years of graduate assistantship in higher ed/recreational sports will count as one year of professional experience).Excellent organizational and analytical skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to communicate effectively with others.
