| Nova Southeastern University's Office of Recreation and Wellness is now accepting credentials for two Graduate Assistant positions from candidates planning to pursue a career in Campus Recreation / Student Affairs. The following assistantship positions are available for the 2021-2022 academic year: -
Graduate Assistant for Intramural Sports -
Graduate Assistant for Aquatics and Operations Graduate Assistantships are 12-month appointments and coinside with enrollment and progress in a NSU academic program, preferably the Masters in College Student Affairs. Credentials will be accepted on a rolling basis and positions will remain open until filled. Priority consideration will be given to credentials received by December 18, 2020. The Graduate Assistant for Aquatics and Operations is a member of the Office of Recreation and Wellness whose primary purpose is to provide coordination, oversight, supervision and support to aquatic facilities, staff, and events/activities at three university swimming pools. This position will also assist, as needed, with supervision of the operations of the university’s main Recreational Complex. The Graduate Assistant for Intramural Sports is a member of the Office of Recreation and Wellness whose primary purpose is to coordinate and lead a comprehensive intramural sports program to include indoor and outdoor leagues and tournaments, as well as the recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of related staff. This position will also assist, as needed, with occasional duties related to NSU Club Sports. |
