Minimum Qualifications: 1) Post-baccalaureate coursework in Recreation, Sports Management, Sports Administration, or related field, and 2) At least one year of full-time professional management experience in Recreation, Recreational Sports or closely related field. 3) Wilderness First Responder or Wilderness First Aid Certification (Expired or Current) Preferred Qualifications: 1) Master’s Degree in Recreation, Sports Management, Sports Administration, or related field; 2) Experience with the management, administration, developing, designing, facilitating, and supervising Outdoor Programs. 3) Experience as a primary trip leader and guide involving extended trips. 4) Experience in supervising and training others in trip planning, coordination, and transportation. 5) Experience with outdoor equipment rental, purchasing, maintenance, conditioning, repair, and storage 6) Experience recruiting, training, leading and supervising students in Outdoor Recreation roles in a higher education setting 7) Experience with budgeting programs 8) Experience with risk management and the implementation of risk management plans 9) Instructor level certification with any certifying organization, or outdoor programming certification.
