The Aquatic Specialist assumes functional and administrative responsibility of all aquatic lifeguard staff in the Mizzou Aquatic Center, which includes a 50M competitive pool, diving well, two whirlpools, indoor and outdoor leisure pools and a steam and sauna rooms. This position manages aquatic lifeguard staff including the hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of these staff; additionally, assisting in providing professional supervision of facility operations; instructing American Red Cross courses and communicating custodial and maintenance needs.
