Villanova University Intramural Sports Intern

This internship will run from August 1 – May 31. The Intramural Sports Intern will act as the primary manager of the University’s intramural program and will also assist with supervising the University fitness centers and club sport operations.

• Hiring, training and evaluating intramural student staff of 75-100 employees.
• Provide direct supervision to student employees and ensure employee compliance with department expectations.
• Conduct ongoing student employee training sessions and student employee evaluations.
• Oversee the planning, scheduling and administration of intramural games, tournaments and special events. Ensure participant compliance with department policies and procedures.
• Maintain inventory of intramural equipment.
• Facilitate sport specific captain and employee meetings.
