The Coordinator of Club Sports will serve as the day-to-day point person coordinating the administrative duties of the Drexel Club Sports Program which involves 35 teams, 50 coaches and 1,200 students. This individual is integral to enhancing the student experience through sports by providing proactive communication, immediate responses, detailed and well-organized record keeping and an overall first class, professional presentation of the Department.
Day to day management of Drexel Club Sports.
Serve as primary point of contact for Drexel Club Sports for all University offices, coaches, and student leaders.
Coordination of all club financial transactions.
Maintain highly detailed and up to date records on all club finances; available to meet with clubs to assist with budget questions and needs.
Development of all campus practice schedules and home competitions.
Maintain all active club records including – overall practices/competition schedules, contacts (club officers, coaches, instructors, facilities, staff, etc.), participation, club rosters, travel itineraries, recognition process, etc.
Coordinate the hiring process of all coaches and instructors.
Assist with the hiring, training, supervising student office staff and site supervisory staff.
Assist with advising and mentoring the officers of clubs to assist in completing their business with related offices.
Develop and complete Club Sports end of year annual report.
Attend games and practices as assigned.
Interact/assist the Club Sports Athletic Training staff and the Club Sports Executive Board on daily basis.
Attend Club Sports Council & Club Sports Executive Board Meetings as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
