Administrative leader for Campus Recreation Membership Services including reporting on membership/program sales and facility use, managing membership services software (Fusion), monitoring and estimating revenue, and managing membership services part time and work study staff. Under limited supervision, the person in this position will administer Fusion sales software and associated key performance indicators including revenue and building access; analyze usage data and establish goals specific to annual membership and locker revenue; oversee all membership documents, waiver management, and ensure that membership registration procedures are accurate and efficient; attend benefits, wellness and information fairs, and other marketing opportunities to promote Penn Campus Recreation; and develop feedback mechanisms to identify opportunities for membership growth and further operational and customer service improvements. The basic functions of this position are to generate membership revenue and expand and retain current membership base. This position reports to the Director of Financial Operations in the Division of Recreation and Intercollegiate Athletics.
Administer membership sales software (Fusion) providing membership access, online/in-person point of sale and reporting services (key performance indicators), and associated website content management software. Maintain accurate reports detailing facility use and membership sales as well as Monthly, Semester and Annual membership and locker inventory and sales. Processes all membership change and cancellation transactions and daily deposits. Maintain accurate financial records for quarterly and annual reporting. Coordinate direct member communications including, but not limited to newsletters; website; and membership brochures, forms, and flyers. Oversee administration of Membership Services office. Oversee all membership documents, waiver management, and ensure that membership registration procedures are accurate and efficient. Attend orientation programs for new students, new faculty/staff, health & wellness fairs, and departmental meetings and information sessions as requested to promote Penn Recreation.
A Bachelor’s Degree is required with 4 years of relevant experience in university, community, or commercial fitness and recreation centers or combination of education and relevant experience. Active knowledge of membership management software (Fusion preferred) is required. Advanced user skills with Microsoft Office software including Excel. Strong, demonstrated analytical skills.
Candidates must be willing to work evenings/weekends as program needs require.
