The Department of Campus Recreation & Wellness is now seeking three experienced professionals to lead its team in the position of Fitness Coordinator, Outdoor Coordinator, and Student Wellness Coordinator at Western Kentucky University.
Fitness Coordinator: This position provides dynamic guidance and leadership to the Health & Fitness Lab in fitness services, group fitness, personal training, and instructional classes. Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Health & Fitness, the Fitness Coordinator will have direct oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Fitness Center, including staffing and supervision, and maintenance of equipment. The Student Wellness Coordinator will report directly to the Assistant Director, Health & Fitness.
Outdoor Coordinator: This position provides dynamic guidance and leadership to the Outdoor Recreation Adventure Center and the WKU Challenge Course programs. The Coordinator of Outdoor Recreation/Challenge Course reports directly to the Assistant Director, Programs.
Student Wellness Coordinator: This position is responsible for coordinating the "WellU®", student wellness incentive program, and Health Education & Promotion program for the Campus Recreation & Wellness department at WKU. Provide overall strategic direction, leadership, assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of all campus health education and promotion initiatives. The Student Wellness Coordinator will report directly to the Assistant Director, Health & Fitness.
