The Intramural Sports Intern will directly report to the Assistant Athletic Director for Recreation. The Intern will assist with all aspects of the University’s Intramural Program.
This is a 10-month position (August to May) with a $10,000 stipend. On campus housing is available along with access to all program equipment and facilities.
Assist with direct responsibility of the Intramural Program
Assist with day to day operations of the intramural program
Train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate student officials, statisticians, and supervisors
Provide risk management training to student staff members
Promote and market intramural programs
Assist with preparation and execution of any special events
Purchase and inventory all equipment associated with the program.
Coordinate program business operations including, but not limited to:

• Bachelor Degree in a related field required • Previous experience in sports and recreation programs or facilities • Familiarity with current trends within recreational sports profession • Excellent communication skills • NIRSA Member preferred • Must be First Aid/CPR certified
