Job Description(Intramural Sports 2-year commitment, pending satisfactory employment in first year)
1.Candidate must represent Campus Recreation in many capacities and is expected to be professional is his or her conduct.
2.Available to work 25 hours per week (office hours will include day, night and weekends, however, the majority of hours will be afternoon and evening.)
3.Promote IM Sports on campus with flyers, informational meetings and social media.
4.Maintain a safe environment for participants and staff during all IM games, facility events and leagues.
5.Communicate with Campus Rec staff during the hiring and training of all intramural employees.
6.Organize and conduct team captain/individual sport meetings.
7.Actively meet with IM staff and supervisors on a bi-weekly basis.
8.Assist in policy review, rule revisions, and training manuals.
9.Compile semester and yearly final reports for assigned sports.
10.Oversee Campus Disc Golf Course maintenance throughout the year.
11.Evening and weekend facility coverage as needed on a rotating basis
1.Bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution.
2.Acceptance and working toward the completion of a Master’s Degree at Baldwin Wallace University in Sport Management.
3.At least 1 year of experience working in intramural sports, facilities and/or club sports as a supervisor during undergraduate experience.
4.Officiating experience in Intramural Basketball, Flag Football, Volleyball, Softball and/or Indoor Futsal.
5.Previous experience with IMLeagues.com scheduling software is a plus.
6.Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills, computer competency and organizational skills.
7.Hold American Red Cross First Aid, CPR & AED certification or obtain within 30 days of employment.
8.Have a valid driver’s licenses and obtain van driver training certification provided by BW.

Additional Salary Information: Compensation
1.$10,000 taxable stipend over a 10-month (Aug –May 31)
